Great Lakes Timber Show

Daily show times at 5:30 and 7:30 PM Wednesday, September 18 – Friday, September 210- with extra show times on Saturday, September 21 at 2:30, 4:30, and 6:30 PM

The lumberjack show features chainsaw carving, axe throwing, horizontal wood chopping, two-man crosscut sawing, log rolling and loads of humor. Other events can be presented are vertical wood chopping and one man crosscut sawing. The  show employs from 2-4 performers.

The Great Lakes Timber Show has appeared at State Fairs, County Fairs, Theme Parks, Festivals and Sport Shows across the United States for over 20 years. Members of the show have appeared on ABC’s Wide World of Sports, ESPN, CBS This Morning, NBC Today and Good Morning America. The timber show is family friendly entertainment for all venues large and small.

 

 

 

 

All Star Barnyard Revue

Daily show times at 6:00 PM Wednesday, September 18 – Saturday, September 21 – with an extra showing on Saturday, September 21 at 2:00 PM 

Watch the amazing animals perform their natural behaviors in an amazing face paced show. These barnyard actors will have you setting on the edge of your seat.

When the barn doors open our barnyard friends enter the hay bale ring to entertain you with their amazing barnyard antics.

Watch in amazement to their antics ,watching our barnyard friends such as Billy the GOAT doing natural but breath taking leaps, ALLIE the ALPACA, a herd of pygmy goats riding their own FERRIS WHEEL, DON THE DONKEY reading the audiences mind {the barnyards answer to KRESKIN}, DEBBIE THE DARE DEVIL DOG a rescued K9 loves to perform all types of behaviors featuring an astounding high dive, Paula the CIRCUS Pony, the hilarious antics of the lovable pot bellied pigs of the ORIENT, and so much more.

Racing Pigs

Daily race times at 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 18 – Saturday, September 21 – with extra race times on Saturday, September 21 at 12:30 and 4:00 PM

Everyone’s favorite the RACING PIGS, our farm fresh PORTLY PORKERS will streak down the track while you hold your sides with laughter.

As they lineup in the starting gate, cheers will erupt as you pick your favorite as an audience member hits the starting buzzer.

There will be 3 heats of racing as the ponderous pigs plow down the track for the ultimate prize a OREO cookie!

The special feature race features THE ORIENT EXPRESS with 4 VIETNAMESE POT BELLY PIGS blazing around the track, they burn up the track and make the dust fly. It’s no wonder why they are everyone’s favorite.

Cowboy Circus with Danny Grant

Daily show times at 7:00 and 8:30 PM Wednesday, September 18 – Friday, September 20 – with extra show times on Saturday, September 21 at 3:30, 5:30, and 7:30 PM

COWBOY CIRCUS w/ Danny Grant is one of the most interactive & educational Circus, Comedy & Cowboy shows in the entertainment world.

Danny’s stage show includes Audience Participation, Comedy Skits, Circus Tricks, Live Music, Cowboy Ropin’ and more all packed into a 30 minute performance. 

AND

Danny’s strolling shows features teaching your fairgoers how-to Trick Rope, Crack A Bullwhip, and even Lasso his horse, “Charlie!”

Mobile Dairy Classroom

Daily class times at 6:30 PM Wednesday, September 18 – Friday, September 20 – with extra class times on Saturday, September 21 at 3:00, 5:00, and 7:00 PM

Teaching kids about the dairy industry is one of our priorities. Our Mobile Dairy Classroom is a traveling milking parlor, featuring a live cow and an oral presentation.

Our trained instructors will demonstrate how to milk a cow, describe how milk goes from the farm to the consumer, and then answer questions from the audience. This is an innovative program that brings the dairy experience directly to children. At schools, students and teachers share an experience that includes math, science, health (nutrition), and agriculture, all presented in an outdoor classroom format.

 

Franklin County Sheriff’s Dept K-9 Unit Demos.

Wednesday, September 18 – Thursday, September 19  – On the hour, starting at 6:00 PM with last demonstration at 9:00 PM 

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit is a part of the Patrol Bureau. Responsibilities include tracking of criminal suspects and lost persons, evidence recovery, bomb detection, drug detection, and general patrol duties. The Canine Unit is one of the few available in central Ohio and their use is often requested by other agencies.

The unit also goes to schools, fairs, and other public events to demonstrate the important work they do, as well as showing the public how well they are trained in getting the bad guys – while also showing how friendly and loving they are with the good guys.

All of the canines in this unit are trained in general police work, along with a specialize focus.

Blue Ridge Mountain Garden Tractor Pullers Association

Garden Tractor Pull

Friday, September 20 – 6:00 PM (Lower Field)

Established in 2005, the Blue Ridge Mountain Garden Tractor Pullers Association is an organization for people with an interest in garden tractor pulling. The association offers competition classes ranging from Junior, Pure Stock, Hot Stock, Modified and Mini Rods.

They travel Franklin County and surrounding areas providing family fun and entertainment for audiences of all ages.

Southwestern Antique Tractor and Gas Engine Association

Tractor Pull

Saturday, September 21 – 12:00 PM (Lower Field)

What started out many years ago with farmers bringing their favorite tractors out of the fields to bring home bragging rights by pulling the heaviest stone boat the furthest has progressed into the heaviest motor sport in the world!

Enjoy a friendly competition featuring modified tractors pulling the heaviest loads down the field. Presented by The Southwestern Antique Tractor and Gas Engine Association.
